Manchester Slip Testing — operated by Surface Performance Ltd under UKAS ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, Lab Schedule No. 7933 — provides BS 7976-2 pendulum slip resistance testing to oil major branded forecourts, independent operators, supermarket forecourts and HGV stops across Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Trafford, Bury, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Wigan and the wider Greater Manchester region.

The pendulum test, carried out in accordance with BS 7976-2:2002+A1:2013, is the preferred pedestrian slip test method recommended by the Health and Safety Executive and the UK Slip Resistance Group. It is the only slip test evidence accepted by UK courts in civil slip injury claims.
