Manchester Slip Testing — operated by Surface Performance Ltd under UKAS ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, Lab Schedule No. 7933 — provides BS 7976-2 pendulum slip resistance testing to 3PLs, retail RDCs, manufacturer's distribution sites and trade-counter operators across Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Trafford, Bury, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Wigan and the wider Greater Manchester region.

The pendulum test, carried out in accordance with BS 7976-2:2002+A1:2013, is the preferred pedestrian slip test method recommended by the Health and Safety Executive and the UK Slip Resistance Group. It is the only slip test evidence accepted by UK courts in civil slip injury claims.

Every warehouse environment has its own slip risk profile. Our typical survey scope covers loading bay aprons, dock leveller transitions, MHE traffic routes, pedestrian segregated walkways and racking access aisles.

Reports are written to align with the regulatory framework that applies to warehouses — including HSE workplace transport guidance HSG136, the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and BS EN 16165.
