Manchester Slip Testing — operated by Surface Performance Ltd under UKAS ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, Lab Schedule No. 7933 — provides BS 7976-2 pendulum slip resistance testing to Premier League and EFL stadia, rugby and cricket grounds, concert arenas and event venues across Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Trafford, Bury, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Wigan and the wider Greater Manchester region.

The pendulum test, carried out in accordance with BS 7976-2:2002+A1:2013, is the preferred pedestrian slip test method recommended by the Health and Safety Executive and the UK Slip Resistance Group. It is the only slip test evidence accepted by UK courts in civil slip injury claims.

Every stadia & arena environment has its own slip risk profile. Our typical survey scope covers concourses, food and beverage units, hospitality lounges, player tunnels, podium frontages and external pedestrian realm.

Reports are written to align with the regulatory framework that applies to stadia & arenas — including Sports Grounds Safety Authority Green Guide, SACG and BS 7976-2.
